A Plate which holds a Wine Glass

One of the subjects we have heard a lot about during 2011 has been recent innovations in grape growing practices and gastronomic innovations and the tendencies of the two…

Detecting tendencies is a means of understanding how consumers currently behave and what they will do in the future. Ideally, this should inspire us to create new products, services and experiences which anticipate these tendencies and hit the nail on the head with ideas which are sure to be a success.
Well, today, we have done just that!

A plate which holds a glass… Eat&Greet is a plate designed for parties and is able to hold any type of stem glass thanks to a small hole in its side. This innovative design, made by a Barcelona company, enables consumers to hold both the plate and glass in the same hand, allowing guests to enjoy the party and its food. It is made of polyester, it holds all glass types and is dishwasher proof. It has been specifically designed for the catering industry.

How many times have we found that during a party or any other festive occasion, we have had our hands full and have been unable to try a tasty titbit that the waiter has offered us!

It looks good and it’s practical. Don’t you think so?

Vinthink

At last! Vinthink is here, a social network for wine lovers!

Gemma Rojas and Josep Maria Pinyol, from Manresa, have created one of the first online social media networks for wine fans and wine professionals: Vinthink. It is a website which also has a free app. for iPhone and another for Facebook, where users can recommend and comment on wines they have tried as well as create events as long as they are related in some way to wine.

There are currently 58,000 wine and sparkling wine (Cava) references and 11,000 wineries from Catalonia, Spain, France, Italy and the USA included on this site.

We will also be featuring in this new application!
