Annual Wine Fair proves popular
Posted by: pinord

The open air market, known as “La Feria del Gall” or the “Cockerel’s Fair”, which took place this last weekend was a good showcase for numerous DO Penedès Wines. Our Diorama Collection Syrah was available to taste during the fair and was also chosen to pair with food presented at the Food Show during the fair. The Supercellar, a tasting zone where visitors could purchase red, rosé and white DO Penedès wines as well as sparkling wines, spirits and select food products, was held in the “Plaza del Vi” in Sant Julià park.
Many people came from neigbouring villages over the days the market was held in Vilafranca and the event was seen to be a success in terms of numbers of visitors.

The Aroma Game – playing with Diorama!
Posted by: pinord
Our greatest novelty this year has been the launch of our new collection of mono-varietal wines: DIORAMA. Six wines aim to reveal their secrets to consumers by introducing them to the typical aromas and flavours of each grape variety: Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet rosé, white Chardonnay, White Grenache and Red Grenache.
Diorama comes on its own or in a special boxed set, which contains small aroma vials to help consumers get to know the classic aromas of each variety and be able to tell the difference between them. It includes a wine-tasting guide which offers advice for those wishing to learn more about this fascinating world of aromas in the Aroma Game.
It truly is a blind tasting! By using only our nose, we will decide which aromas are in each small numbered bottle. Ah! Our wine labels are also very different: bright colours and geometrical shapes make up the outline of bunches of grapes. Each variety has its own colour scheme.
